This is tiny Fern She is the Realborn Jaycee asleep sculpt which means she was created by using 3D imagery of an actual newborn. She is 18 inches long (but seems smaller to me). She the sweetest little cuddle in fuzzy pink pants.
Fern is a vinyl doll with full limbs and a soft cloth body that is realistically weighted with micro glass beads. She full articulates, has closed eyes and is magnetized (her nursery paci will come home with her). Fern has a medium complexion, she is not a fair baby, she has a lot of gold in her skin tone and has undertones of violet, salmon and pink. Her hair is painted in several shades of brown and has been textured and sealed. Fern has mono rooted eyelashes in baby brown mohair.
Fern is painted, mottled and blushed beautifully and would make an excellent addition to any reborn collection, she is also great for teen or a tween. She could go to a memory home but let me know first so I can remove her magnet and lighten her up a bit for easier carrying.
Reborns are never intended for small children.
Real Reborns are made one at a time by a reborn artist. What makes these babies amazing and different from a store bought doll is that each one is unique and has perfect imperfections. If a baby does have imperfections that were not intentional the price will reflect that, if we feel it is something that may need to be disclosed we will do that in our description.
Our babies are vinyl with a soft cloth body that is weighted with glass beads. We do not weigh babies, they are filled to be as realistic as we can make them. If this is meant to be a therapy doll let us know so we can make the baby lighter for you.
Photography is done in our studio with natural lighting available at the time. Our images are not filtered or altered and may not be used without permission. We try to keep photography as honest as we can.
Feel free to ask questions we love answering them but please note that Saint Cloud does have a no return policy. Make sure this is the baby you really want before you order. We also DO NOT do customs, lay-away, hold babies, swap or exchange babies or do trades, we just do not have the bookkeeping to manage that at this time. All our babies are going home for the first time.
(A "box opening" is a separate charge of 50.00. We usually do these for our friends that film their box openings or want to make the opening special for the person they are gifting the baby to. The items in the box opening are chosen by Saint Cloud Nursery for that particular baby.)
Our babies are double checked before they go to post to be sure they are complete, undamaged, carefully wrapped and ready for you to love.
