This baby is an older and rare sculpt. I have only seen four others reborned.
Baby stats: Date of reborn: 12.31.18 Time of reborn: 7:36 p.m. Length: 21 inches Weight: 6 pounds (according to my old scale) Sculpt: Juliana by Sandy Faber
Hair: Prisma pencils in dark brown and heat sealed. Eyes: Polyglass light brown, glued from inside Eyelashes: Dark Brown applied, glued securely Eyebrows: Genesis painted in light strokes and in a slightly lighter shade of brown than head hairs. Paints: Many layers of Genesis Heat Set Sealed: Yes, with Dewy Skin Medium Lips and Nails: Lightly glossed and nails lightly trimmed and sealed with air dry sealer Body: Doe Suede, 3/4 limbs Fillings: Limbs filled with very fine glass, topped with poly fill; Body filled with poly fill with two pouches of glass beads for even weight distribution. Bottom contains large glass beads in a double pouch. The second pouch is at the chest/neck area and contains very fine glass beads sealed in a five layer pouch. I did not weight the head with glass beads because he is an older baby and I wanted him to be able to sit independently and not flop his head over. His head is filled firmly with poly fill. Clothing: 3 months Pacifier: modified Magnet: NO. Safe for people with pacemakers.
Due to the size of baby, I wanted him to be able to sit up independently. I have posed him in pictures so you can see that he indeed can sit up. He may need to be cushioned behind for some poses.
Coming home with baby: One piece long outfit seen in pictures, modified pacifier, blanket of my choice, lovey, birth certificate, care instructions, and at least one surprise item.
**Because Oscar has no magnets he is safe for people with pacemakers and around electronic devices. He is still a collectible item and should not be given to young children.
Extreme care should be used when handling ALSO, because of another buyer of one of my dolls, I must add that, this is a DOLL and will not sit up unassisted and is FLOPPY. He has a cloth torso and heavy head. It will flop. This is what reborns are supposed to do and is not a defect or flaw. This helps create the illusion of a real baby. Please read all care instructions carefully. Please look at all pictures carefully to make sure Oscar is your perfect baby. I do not accept returns. Thanks for looking.
