The "Darren" kit by the oh so talented Realborn Bountiful Baby
Baby Reeves was brought to life through the use of many different techniques. He was painted with dozens of layers of different shades and tones of Genesis Heat Set Paints. Each thin layer was dried by a heat gun, and then placed in the oven for official baking. This ensures no chipping or fading of paint, to last you many years of happiness. He was given delicate veining, blue undertones, capillaries, and texturing throughout his skin. He has micro tiny lanugo (or peach fuzz) on his face, arms, and legs!❤️ His skin tone is an uneven blotchy-ness just as a real baby would have. His nose has been opened so he can “breathe”. His paint was sealed with "Dewy skin" and matte varnish. He has tiny milk bumps on his nose and surrounding areas.
Reeves was rooted in Pale a Blonde mohair. The hair is a high-quality, baby soft mohair produced by the talented Susan Nagel. 1-2 hairs were strategically placed with each poke, to lay in the direction of a newborns natural hair pattern. A high-quality 43g German (1 barb) Rooting Needle was used. This is the smallest and most fine needle on the market, ensuring 1-2 hairs per poke and making the smallest hole possible.

Baby Reeves has a soft doe-suede body sent to me from the kit supplier. He has FULL arms and FULL legs Making him fun to dress in outfits without legs or sleeves. His limbs, head, and body have been weighted using micro fine/sand-like glass beads. The beads in the head and body have been contained by a stocking. He was then finished off by stuffing with poly-fil. His limbs have been secured by cable ties. Reeves has a magnet in his head, as well as a magnetic pacifier. Caution should be take around pacemakers and electronics.
Reeves feels and moves just like a real newborn, and should be handled with care. He is not recommended for small children.
