Fenmore is an anatomically correct reborn drink and wet baby created from a Sydney head by Pat Moulton and full limbs matched from other kits with a permanently attached belly plate to give him extra realism. He has specially made internal mechanisms that allow him to drink water (distilled only) and then wet his diaper, yet his body is fully weighted to 5 pounds 4 ½ ounces for his 20” length. He is a very realistic small newborn or large preemie baby. He wears Newborn size diapers and clothing. THIS BABY IS NOT A TOY FOR A CHILD. He is a collectible art doll for adult reborn enthusiasts who would enjoy the experience of feeding and changing as part of the experience of doll play. He has been artfully painted with Liquitex professional grade air dry acrylic paints after proper prepping with a special sealer which allows the paint to adhere with permanence given gentle care and handling. Fenmore features delicate veins, capillaries, blushing, mottling, and delicately tipped nails on his fingers and toes for amazing realism. He has been rooted with excellent quality golden blond mohair for real baby softness to his sweetly sculpted head which has been sealed inside so that moderate styling, brushing, washing, etc. can be done with no fear of losing hair. He has painted delicate baby eyebrows and his eyelashes are rooted with coordinating slightly thicker hair. Just take special care while feeding that the bottle does not drip excessively down the mouth and neck which could possibly seep inside the cracks or damage the paint on his face. Hold the bottle so that the special nipple fits inside completely; use a bib or burp cloth to keep his face dry, and use only distilled water in the bottle. Anything else could possible build up mineral deposits inside the mechanics and cause it to stop working much the same way as coffee pot does. Carefully match up the pointed end of the nipple with his tubing…do not shove or force it inside. It is a perfect fit that should slip in easily if lined up correctly. Do not remove the torso or any parts of the body. His head is not as floppy as other reborns because of the tubing system inside which also cannot take the stress of excessive turning or stretching. Feed the baby no more than two ounces at a time, slowly, gently squeezing the plastic bottle to send small swallows into his mouth. If you follow these guidelines, you will have a lot of fun feeding your baby and changing his diaper. Although this baby is relatively waterproof, do not immerse him in water as that would result in overloading too much water onto the parts.
