Quinton sculpt
By Rita- Grandma's Babies

20 inches (50.8 centimeters)

Quinton is an adorable sculpt by Marissa May who is really angry at someone!! He is 20 inches long and weighs 4 lbs 10 ozs. He has been painted with many layers of Genesis heat set paints. He has a cloth body that has been stuffed with soft, fluffy fiber fill and a pouch of tiny glass beads for added weight. His limbs and head have also been stuffed, weighted and sealed to keep the stuffing in. His dark hair was rooted and sealed on the inside so it can be spritzed with a little water and gently styled. He is dressed in a diaper, a onesie undershirt, and his footed sleeper along with his hand crocheted hat. He has been fitted with a strong magnet so he can use his binkie.

While this baby is well made, he is not a toy and should not be given to a child under age 7. This is a work of art and you are paying for the time it took to make, the materials used and the artist's talent.

I began reborning about 6 years ago after realizing that collecting reborns that others had made had become quite expensive. I was hooked after the first doll was completed. It is so exciting to see the individual personality of each reborn emerge as the creative process goes along. My dolls over the years have been given as gifts, sold, and happily given to a local nursing home as therapy dolls. The next step in this reborning process for me is a wide range marketing attempt. I hope you enjoy the dolls as much as I have enjoyed creating them.
