Baby Everlee and Emery were brought to life through the use of many different techniques. They were painted with dozens of layers of different shades and tones of Genesis Heat Set Paints. Each thin layer was dried by a heat gun, and then placed in the oven for official baking. This ensures no chipping or fading of paint, to last you many years of happiness. They were given delicate veining, blue undertones, capillaries, and texturing throughout their skin. Their skin tone is an uneven blotchy-ness just as a real baby would have. The paint was sealed with "Dewy skin" and matte varnish.
Everlee and Emery were rooted in 2 -tone hair which means there are 2 different colors. The colors used were 2 different shades of a Medium brown . This gives the hair depth and realism as hair is not all just one color. The hair is a high-quality, baby soft mohair from 'Slumberland Nursery' and 'Sarah Silk'. 1-2 hairs were strategically placed with each poke, to lay in the direction of a newborns natural hair pattern. A high-quality 46g European crown (3barb) Rooting Needle was used. This is the smallest and most fine needle on the market, ensuring the smallest hole/hair follicle possible.

Baby Everlee and Emery have a soft doe-suede body sent to me from the kit supplier. They have 3/4th arms and FULL legs (Jointed), Making them fun to dress in outfits without legs, or just a diaper and shirt. Their limbs, head, and body have been weighted using micro fine/sand-like glass beads. The beads in the head and body have been contained by a stocking. They were then finished off by stuffing with poly-fil. Their limbs have been secured by cable ties. Emery has a magnet in her head, as well as a magnetic pacifier. Everlee is able to take a FULL pacifier with a small nipple. Soothie,gumdrop,etc.
Note: These pictures were taken in different light settings both natural and artificial, so colors differ from each. Everlee and Emery feel and move just like a real newborn, and should be handled with care. They are not recommended for small children.
