Kimi sculpt by Donna Rubert
By Rita- Grandma's Babies

19 inches (48.2 centimeters)

Kimi is an adorable sculpt with 3/4 arms and legs. She has a doe suede/cloth body that is stuffed and weighted to give her that cuddley, newborn feel. She is 19 inches long and weighs 5 pounds and 4 ounces. She is stuffed with tiny glass beads and poly pellets for weight and the softest of poly-fil for cuddles. She has rooted blond hair and blue eyes. She will come to her new home dressed in the yellow with pink trim sleeper a hand crocheted pink hat. She has a strong magnet to allow her to use a binkie but the magnet can be removed if requested. She has been painted with many layers of genesis heat set paints. Her hait can be spritzed with a little water and gently styled.

Please be advised that this is a one of a kind work of art and should not be given to children to play with. You are paying for the materials that went into the making, as well as the time and talent of the artist. It usually takes 30 to 40 hours to make one doll.

(Do not leave this doll in a hot car because damage could occur to your car when a policeman or ordinary citizen breaks a window to rescue a "doll" thinking it was a real baby. )

I began reborning about 6 years ago after realizing that collecting reborns that others had made had become quite expensive. I was hooked after the first doll was completed. It is so exciting to see the individual personality of each reborn emerge as the creative process goes along. My dolls over the years have been given as gifts, sold, and happily given to a local nursing home as therapy dolls. The next step in this reborning process for me is a wide range marketing attempt. I hope you enjoy the dolls as much as I have enjoyed creating them.
