Sofie is a reborn baby like no hand sculpted kit. Her sculpt was actually made from a real newborn baby using 3D photometric scans. The scans were fed into a 3D printer where the prototype sculpt was made. This precious little bundle was then produced into the kit you see here!
I enjoyed bringing this little one to life because she is just so realistic. sHe really does feel like an actual newborn baby in your arms. I didn't want to put her down. The realism is incredible. I was so impressed with this precious baby.

Virtually every sweet baby fold, wrinkle and crease of the head, ears, eyes, nose, fingers, feet, and toes are captured with this technology. Then small details are carefully checked to assure the detail will transfer over beautifully into the vinyl. Then a 3D prototype print is created using one of the highest resolution 3D printers on the market today. From the 3d prototype print, the molds for the most perfect reborn artists' canvas (the Realborn® vinyl doll parts).
Every wrinkle, crease and precious fold has been captured. I have not missed any details in bringing out the realism. I used Genesis heat set paints, filled her with fine glass beads and poly fiber fill. SHe has micro rooted eyelashes in Black using the most exquisite mohair. She also has a magnetic pacifier as I felt it added to the realism for a just born baby. I have painted all the veining, mottling and newborn skin markings that you would see on a newborn baby. Her skin tone has been sealed for a beautiful complexion. SHe has full limbs with a tailored body that fits her perfectly giving her that real newborn shape and feel.
