Up for adoption for your consideration is this absolutely stunning reborn. The doll is reborned from the sold out edition by Olga Auer. She has the most beautiful face and limbs as you can see from the picture. It was a very limited edition by Olga of only 500. My baby is 213 out of the 500. The kit is completely sold out and if any are available very h fard to find. ng
My dolls are not created to be a play toy for small children. Not recommended for children under the age of 13. The dolls are to be treated as a fine collectible. Keep away from small children and chewing pets. The limbs are filled with small glass beads. I've take a lot of time and used all of my reborning skills and talents to make this baby doll as realistic as can be. I wanted to give her a very fair peaches and cream complexion rather than that of a mottled newborn. I gave the doll many transluscent layers of genesis heat set paint. The only paint I've ever used on my babies is genesis because of the durability (bonds with the vinyl) and the amazing realistic skin tones I can achieve. She was given soft and subtle veining, blushing and undertones. I've shaded all of her creases and sweet wrinkles. She has hand painted soft wispy eyebrows and very sweet and realistic painted toe and fingernails with soft tips.
I love giving my babies and gorgeous head of painted hair. It has taken me many hours and layer upon layer built up to achieve this result. My technique is to paint each of the hairs as individually as I can. I use painting brushes with the fewest of bristles. I love the look of baby hair where you can see the scalp peeking through. Painted hair is perfect for someone that loves to put on lots of headbands, hats and caps without having to comb the mohair each time. This doll's hair will always look neat and no worries about combing hair out. Baby's eyelashes are rooted and as soft and wispy as can be. They are securely glued from within but I advise to use caution when dressing and undressing baby. I have my own technique as far as putting on a permanent matte varnish and think it looks very realistic.
The specifications on Victoria did indicate that her legs were full length but I found that after trying two different bodies on her she looked better with a body that has 3/4 length instead of full. I've used a body on her from Bountiful Baby. It has 3/4 length arms and legs and is jointed so the doll is easier to dress. I use only high quality weighting and stuffing on my babies. I create my reborns to last for many years is taken care of properly. The baby doll is a nice weight of approximately 6 pounds. The length is also approximately 20 inches.
NO MAGNETS WERE GIVEN TO VICTORIA.
The doll wears 0 to 3 month clothing. Please be aware that with some of the clothing the cloth body neck area does show. If you like you can put an undershirt on the doll. If you are handy with sewing, knitting or croheted the doll will be delightful to make clothing for.
