Tiny Maura was created from the Caleb sculpt by Heather Boneham. She weighs 1 pound, 12 ounces and is 13 inches long with legs bent. She would be approximately 14 inches if they were straight. She is NOT A TOY but a collectible piece of 3-D art intended for adults. She does not meet child safety standards and should not be given to or played with by young children. She is meant to be displayed and enjoyed. Maura has been lovingly hand painted in many ultra thin layers of professional quality, archival acrylic paints to give her realistic skin tones. She has newborn mottling, tiny veins and miniscule finger and toe nails. Her hair has been hand painted a single hair at a time. Eyelashes are hand rooted mohair. She has a custom doe suede body made just for her. She has been weighted and stuffed with encapsulated tiny glass beads surrounded by polyfil to give her a real baby feel. Her head needs to be supported just like an actual infant's. She wears micro preemie 1-3 pound clothes. She contains no magnets so she is safe for everyone.
Maura will come home with her pink and white onesie with matching leg warmers and hat; blanket; pink and white sweater and hat; birth certificate; care instructions and some little extras. Basket display bed is included.
