Alyssa is the Elsie sculpt by Marissa May with an impish smile and big brown eyes. She is 18" and weighs approximately 4Lbs. She takes preemie and new born size clothing. She has medium brown rooted mohair that is sealed from the inside with waterproof glue.I have hand rooted it so it appears to grow from her head. She is painted with GHSPaints that are non fading. I paint several layers to give the skin depth and texture. There is subtle veining beneath these layers at the wrists, ankles and temples. The lips and nose are shaded and blushed, I have glossed them to give them a natural moist appearance. Alyssa has dark oriental brown eyes. This little one has a jointed doe suede body with 3/4 soft vinyl limbs. She is weighted with glass beads, steel shot and fiber fil to give her a real baby feel. Her head is weighted send will need support like a real newborn. She has a felt covered pacifier that is magnetic.. Alyssa will go to her new Mums with a birth certificate and care sheet. I will send her in her t shirt,cloth diaper cover, hat and booties,also a baby blanket, new sleeper, bunny and pacifier.This baby girl is very cuddly but is not a childs toy. She should be handled gently.
