I truly love the art involved in reborning and enjoy watching each new baby come to life as a unique little individual. I use quality products and strive to improve my techniques with each new “birth”. I made this adorable baby boy- a new sculpt-Nixon by Joanna Kazmierczak! (20" and 5#) He started with a bubble bath and he has had several layers of Airdry Paints. He has undertones, internal shading, tiny veining, blushing, creasing and some mottling added to his lovely complexion. His nails have been tipped with light natural color and sealed with glossy shine. His beautifully-shaped lips are very natural looking with little wet corners. He has natural brown acrylic eyes with little tears and wispy applied lashes- a very sweet expression! His nose has been opened for “breather” appearance and backed with felt. His hair is directionally-painted combination od paint and prismacolor pencils and finished with Folkart medium! Please note that baby has fontanels on top of his head for it’s realistic shape. Baby Nixon has a soft beige cloth body with unjointed full limbs. His head, limbs and body are filled with fine glass beads and polyfill- no sand. Baby has a magnetic pacifier and caution should be given around pacemakers, credit cards and computers. Coming home- he has his newborn diaper, white t-shirt, striped hat, sleeper, handmade knitted brown overralls and pixie hat, COA,pacifier & birth certificate. He has a mild baby fresh scent. Nixon is an adult collector doll and I would recommend that reborns only be handled by adults. They are not meant to be played with by children. I hope you will enjoy him as much as I did reborning this beautiful little baby boy! He would make a precious gift for a loved one.
