This bigger reborn is the "Liam" kit by Bonnie Brown, this baby is approx. 30 inch in length, with full arms, and legs. He/she has been painted with "FX" air dry paints, then sealed with an air dry matte sealer,and for extra durability, I applied 3 separate layers of "Genesis" heat set matte varnish, so he/she is textured sightly.(his/her complexion is a paler tone, with veining,along with some blushing on the knees/hands, and feet) He/she has been weighted with tiny glass beads/polyester fiberfill, silicone pellets, and weighs approx. 11 lbs. This babies hair has been painted , along with the eye brows, and bottom lashes, all in the same brown tones. I had a vision of seeing this baby with a thick head of rooted hair, so I decided to root some hair over the painted hair, but it turned out that it was a non doable task...as when I started rooting hair, I noticed the needle was leaving some very noticeable holes where ever the needle poked through the varnish on the head, not a good look, so I thought I would try a wig. Well the wig bothered me(looked too fake) so I thought maybe I'd buy some human hair, remove the wig, bite the bullet, and start rooting the giant sized head. Which is what I did. The hair is a nice chestnut color, easy to root, but did mat up when I washed it, before cutting it (I should have combed it out before trying to wash it) So after all that I decided it is not completely human hair, human hair should not mat like it did. I rooted using a 40gauge 3barbed needle, I will admit though, that it is not the best rooting job, but the hair looks 100% better than the wig, and or the painted hair, it is a coarse feeling hair, and should be picked out with a forked comb first before using a regular comb, or brush, for all the hair issues I have listed this baby as a boo boo baby.
His/her top eye lashes are rooted with a chocolate brown brown mohair, and glued in place.This babies eyes are a rich forest green top quality poliglass, with a thick coat of jewelers grade clear resin applied to the eye surface, to give a wet realistic effect. He/she has an open nose, that has been backed with a dark felt, and glued in place, for depth. His/her finger/toe nails have been realistically manicured, and glossed for extra protection. He/she has a small red heart behind his/her right ear, a signature mark, which is put on all the babies that I reborn, along with a small realistic baby scratch on the top of his right hand. This baby is not a childs toy doll, she is a handcrafted piece of artwork, and should be handled with care(as one would a real baby). He/she will be coming home with her C.O.A,. diapers/modified pacifier, and an outfit of my choosing.(I can pierced the ears should the customer request it) Please...only seriously interested people should be inquiring about this baby, and ask all/any questions you may have regarding this baby prior to purchasing, and I will gladly answer them, if at all possible. Keep in mind that I do not offer refunds, and all my baby sales are final. Please don't consider to purchase, unless you have done your homework on this baby, also... some potential customers might not be aware that close up photos will make the baby look bigger, keep in mind the actual size, in the description, the size of a reborn is measured in its length, not weight, or how big the close up shots make a baby look, just something I needed to put in to protect myself as a seller, P.S. Keep in mind that colors may also vary depending on lighting, ( natural/artificial ) devices used to take photos, and devices used to view this reborn. This baby looks great as a boy or a girl, and can offer either if requested by the purchaser. ..one more thing "PLEASE DO NOT PLACE AN ORDER, UNLESS YOU ARE ACTUALLY GOING TO PURCHASE THE BABY " , and I also appreciate/expect good communication, that is key in any online business transaction.
