Always so beautiful and realistic! Daphne is 20 inches long and weighs 5 pounds. She wears newborn clothes. She has been painted with heat set paint with many intricate details. Some details are so small they are barely seen by the human eye but give an over all effect of realism.
Daphne has full vinyl limbs and a soft doe suede body. She is filled with fine glass and stainless beads surrounded by soft polyester fill. She has a way of curling in to you when you hold her. She is a realborn, meaning she was sculpted after a real baby. She is floppy, her head needs support.
Her hair is painted in many shades of brown. Her lashes are rooted in a slightly darker brown. She takes a modified magnetic pacifier.
As in all my reborns, quality is important. Daphne’s eye lashes and pacifier magnet have been double glued. In addition, her pacifier has a moleskin cover to insure it stays put. Her flanges have a hard-smooth covering which allows her connectors to be nice and tight yet makes her limbs move easily. She is so incredibly adorable I could not stop taking pictures of her.
