This kit is the 'Pascale' sculpt by Joanna Kazmierczak. She is a fully completed and assembled reborn baby that has been professionally artist-painted and individually weighted to closely replicate a newborn baby girl. She is approximately 18 inches long and 4.2 pounds. She has full arms and legs attached to a non-jointed, soft cloth body that makes her snuggle like a real baby. Her layered skin tone was created using Genesis Heat Set Paints that give off no odor. She has subtle blue undertones and veining, hand-painted eyebrows, rooted eyelashes, tiny capillaries, and her little nails have been tipped and sealed with a light shine. Her paint has been sealed with a textured mix of multiple Genesis Heat Set varnishes that leave her skin looking matte, but alive. She has totally amazing blonde hair that was mono-rooted one hair at a time! It has a sweet, sparse baby look.
Every doll I make is weighted and stuffed using tiny glass beads in the limbs, head and body, and premium poly-fil to give each a soft, squishy feel that will make anyone want to hold them. Pascale has been uniquely stuffed to give her an especially lifelike floppy feel as she nestles into your arms, but this means that she will need to be held carefully with her head supported, just like a real baby in order to protect her neck.
Pascale will come home to you in a cream layette set and pink jacket. She has a magnet, and she will come home with a magnetic pacifier. She will come home with a diaper, a COA, care instructions, a blank birth certificate, and a few extras.
