Welcome to the nursery this tiny,little sweet pea! This little preemie is Mason by Pat Moulton. He has been brought to life with many layers of Acrylic paint and sealed twice with matte varnish. I have painted him with many details including soft veining and mottling, small capillaries, milk bumps on his nose, a small baby scratch below his eye, tipped fingernails and toenails, and a bit of "moisture" added to his lips, ears, nostrils, and corners of his eyes. He has painted dark brown hair, dark brown eyebrows, and rooted mohair eyelashes. He is weighted to feel as if you are holding a real baby and you will need to support his head.
Mason will be sent home as a boy in the sleeper, and onesie pictured in the photos plus two more outfits. As a girl, Mason will be sent home with the onesie and headband pictured plus two more outfits. Mason will also come home with a magnetic pacifier, 2 diapers, and a baby-scented wafer placed in the diaper. He/she will also be wrapped in a blanket along with care info.
