TOBBY
Welcome to my version of TOBBY, twin brother of Tinky, produced by Enchanted Kreation, and sculpted by Cindy Musgrove. He is from the special Enchanted Edition, numbered #6/350. Being a part of the first edition has its reward; Enchanted Kreation included a toga made from vintage linens as a gift. It is not pictured, but it is included. My version is the first one with standing legs; I asked to swap out the sitting legs for Tinky's standing legs, and I was indulged! He needs to fully show-off his adorable one of a kind outfits!
TOBBY is 16" tall and weighs 2#. He has a full vinyl body that hold the fabric body inside the torso. He has a full plastic link armature, and as a thank you gift, I include a free doll stand which allows you to display His Sweetness and to protect him from any damage. He was rooted with Russian mohair, he has Eyeco soft blue eyes that conform to the socket. He was painted with a custom palette of GHSP and a matte varnish finish. I had two custom made outfits made for him, the earth toned outfit was made specifically for Tobby, in Lithuania. Included is a small wool felted chickadee in a wee nest that rests on Tobby's head, his companion is a bushy tailed squirrel that he is able to hold in his hands without aid. Strung across his torso is a small green leather gathering bag. He sports a small fabric/Velcro diaper/underwear under his pants. I adore his pointy toe elf booties that also match his Christmas Elf clothing.
The Christmas Elf clothing was custom made with specially selected fabrics to bring my vision to fruition. He has a pair of shorts that come right below his "abundant" belly, a Velcro closing shirt with a comfortable flair, a ruffled neck collar with two layers of fabric that ties with ribbon. His hat works best tied around his neck, as those ears take a lot of space! With a bit of clear rubber band help, he holds and displays a toy from Santa's workshop that he just completed assembling. Mr. Potato Head can actually have his expression changed! Tobby can multitask as he is also able to hold a string of Christmas tree lights!
I had so much fun planning for and accumulating his clothing and his fun accessories; I am pretty detail orientated and I strive for the collector to experience the same excitement I had, creating him.
