Introducing sweet STERLING, sculpted by Dawn McLeod.
Sterling is a Limited Edition sculpt. He is #22 of 2022. He is a nice big cuddly boy at 23 inches long and weighing over 6 pounds.
I have lovingly painted him with many layers of Genesis Heat Set paints and finished him with a satiny, matte varnish. He has painted hair, brows and sweet lanugo on his forehead. Sterling's lashes are rooted and styled with a dark, rich mohair. He has tiny veins on his eyelids and ears, and sweet milk blisters on his lips. Sterling's lips and nails are sealed with a dewy varnish. He is weighted with fine glass beads and soft fiberfil. He has a doe suede body that is gathered in the chest and bum to give him some extra shape. This sweet baby feels so much like a newborn in your arms. He is weighted in all the right places and is very poseable. His head needs to be supported.
Sterling has a strong earth magnet in his head to accommodate a magnetic pacifier. Please use extra caution around sensitive equipment.
This baby is intended as an art piece for adult collectors, and must be handled as such. He is not meant to be submerged in water.
Little Sterling will come home with a nice box opening with layette, blanket, pacifier, lovey, COA and adoption certificate. He will also come with a few little extra goodies.
