Meet Micah!
This sweet, big boy is created from the Michelle sculpt produced by Bountiful Baby.
Micah has been painted in many layers of non-toxic air dry paints. His paint and sealant are both free of solvents. He has a rosy skin tone, with subtle mottling, veining and capillaries. Varying shades of medium and dark brown have been used in his painted hair, giving it depth and realism. He has warm toned, brown, polyglass eyes.
Micah weighs approximately 9.5 pounds, weighted realistically throughout. He has armature in his neck to allow him to sit unassisted and hold his head up. Micah has been created to resemble a 6 month old baby, so he would naturally have more head control. He is the perfect size and build to hold on your hip, push in an umbrella stroller and fashion in a car set. He has tons of adorable photo possibilities!
Micah has full vinyl limbs and a doe suede body. He has a fuller build, but is still quite squishy. He won't feel overstuffed or stiff. He has a magnetic paci feature and will come with a pacifier. Please note that due to the way his mouth is molded, the paci fits more loosely, I almost didn't include the paci feature, but because he can take one while sitting still and for photos, I did include it. (The paci will not likely stay on if he is being moved around a lot. The mold doesn't allow the magnets to sit flat, and even doubling up on the magnets didn't help. (Some folks may say 6 months is too old for a paci, anyway! LOL! My second son was almost FIVE before he gave his up, so you know my opinion on pacis is a bit more lax. ACK! *FACE PALM* HAHA!)
Micah is a tremendous amount of fun to dress. He can wear outfits that go beyond the basic baby clothes used for younger/smaller babies. He comfortably wears size 6 months, 6-9 months, and size 12 months in the tight fitting pajama two piece sets. Size 3 or 4 shoes (depending on style) fit him. He does have a wide foot. Size 3 diapers fit him well.

This doll has been twice sealed for paint protection. He also has an additional layer to give him a more matte look. While sealed, rough play and excessive handling, clothing changes, etc. can wear away at the paint. Care must be taken when handling and changing to avoid friction - especially to the fingers and toes. Covering the hands with mitts and the feet with socks can help protect the paint during clothing changes. I also suggest fastening a diaper upside down over the head to protect the painted hair when tops are being pulled on and off.
