Jewls is a happy little cuddle baby, sculpted by Sandy Faber. Her head is vinyl and her body and limbs are cloth, making her soft to snuggle with. I have painted her with many layers of ultimate fusion paint.
Jewls has realistic painted hair with little curls around her ears and neck. I’ve painted the hair with selective shine, so the topmost strands shine under the light while the shadows remain matte. She has light blue German glass eyes with very subtle red veining for realism. Her top eyelashes are rooted with Suri alpaca hair and the bottom lashes are painted.
She is 19.5” long, and weighted in her hands, feet, body and head for a real baby feel. She is 4.5 pounds. I use angel silk stuffing, which doesn’t clump and that has a soft, huggable quality. You can specify whether to keep her firmly stuffed so she can sit up easily, or less firmly stuffed for more of a floppy feel. I’ve sewn pinch points on her wrists, elbows, and knees that gives her more natural movement. Optional baby scent is included. Because of her open mouth she does not take a magnetic pacifier.
Jewls will come home wrapped in a soft blanket, with her cloud pajamas and birth certificate. She’ll be well-protected with an inner box to protect her eyelashes
