Meki weights approximately 4 pounds and is 18" long with a slight bend at the knees. She has full arms and full legs that were 1/4 filled with fine glass, rounded edge beads; then tightly capped off with polyfill. Meki has a full body armature that does not extend into her head. Her head is weighted with a securely enclosed packet of the same glass beads and polyfill. Her bottom also has a packet of carefully sealed glass beads and it is also surrounded with polyfill, as is the rest of the flesh colored body. The armature enables one to arrange a pose and walk away without needing to prop up arms or legs. Whether her arms and legs are wide open or closed, crossover each other or whether her hands discover her face, you can create the baby poses you lovingly remember. She weighs lighter than other Reborns because of her armature. When posing her limbs the armature does make noise, but it is worth it. Put her in a pose and she’ll stay in it.
Meki was painted with GHSP, including a protective finish of heat set matte varnish and a gloss on her tiny just clipped look finger and toe nails and moist lips. Meki has rooted dark brown curly 100% human hair. The hair is glued inside the head and the inner head eye sockets also have a nice coating of hard set glue to ensure that the eyes cannot shift. Her expressive eyebrows were hand painted and she has upper rooted eye lashes. She has blue eyes. All photos taken in natural light.
