Sweet and tiny Sofia Grace: She is a small newborn size or large preemie. She is around 18 inches and weighs 4 and a half pounds. Her little head needs support just like a real infant. She was created using reborn artist grade paint: RebornFX. Her skin is mottled, the “thin skin” areas shaded light blue, veins and capillaries. Her details are hard to capture on camera. She has milia and finely painted lanugo on her face and forehead. Her nails are tipped and given a satin finish. The lips and nostrils have a nice sheen as well. Her hair is painted sandy brown, eyebrows are very lightly painted and eyelashes rooted with mohair and glued inside the head. She is baby powder scented. Her paint has been sealed with a matte varnish to protect it and give her soft “skin” Baby will come to you swaddled in a hospital blanket, wearing the sleeper dress she’s pictured in.
