DOLLY DIMPLES REBORN NURSERY

I am a self employed professional Reborn Artist.

For the last 14 years my babies have travelled all around the world to many happy Mummy's.

The most popular doll I sell is Sofia. This sculpture can be made as a boy or a girl For someone ordering their first Reborn doll this a really good choice. I also sell this doll for a very reasonable price.

My dolls have featured in a television series and also in a film made at Pinewood Studios.

Each baby is painted over many layers using heat set paints which do not fade.

No two babies are the exact same as they are hand painted.

I usually give my babies a glowing newborn look, but I can also make them more mottled or with little scratches on them.

All my babies a tiny little beauty spot on the left side of their head so that customers know it is a Dolly Dimples Reborn Nursery doll.

Every doll has hair which is hand rooted. This takes a lot of time time to do and I only use the highest quality mohair for every baby.

Over the years the price of the mohair has greatly increased, but I always try my very best to keep my prices as reasonable as I can.

I do not take the time it takes me to make each baby into consideration when I am pricing my dolls as that would probably double the price!

The sculptures also vary greatly in prices.

Some of the sculptures can easily cost over 100 pounds.

When you are ordering a Reborn doll, the prices vary greatly in amounts from different artists.

The price I charge for my babies takes into consideration the cost of the sculpture, quality of mohair, clothing and my time.

Quite often the perception of a buyer might be different to what they are actually ordering, so please look at my dolls carefully before placing an order.

I honestly believe that all my dolls are well made, but of course there is a difference between a £200 doll and a £500 doll in my opinion.

All my dolls have a doe suede body which is disc jointed so the limbs can be moved.

I usually use fine smooth glass beads and top quality fiberfil to fill my dolls to make them feel like a real baby. They also have a floppy head which needs supported just like a real baby.

I love making my babies and I still get excited every time I receive a new sculpture!
