I have been a doll lover for as long as I can remember. I love babies and dolls as well as have a deep appreciation for art. Reborn babies combine all of these into a beautiful expression of innocence and creativity. They are known to provide comfort and peace to their owners. Holding and loving a baby can provide a healing experience for many people. Reborn dolls are often used in therapeutic settings such as nursing homes and counseling offices. They are also collected for their artistic beauty and customized for personal collections. Many are also used in television and movies instead of actual babies.

I am a reborn artist and a collector. I use up to 20 layers of translucent, professional grade Genesis Heat Set Paint to create realistic looking skin and newborn features such as subtle veining, blushing, mottling, birth marks, tipped finger and toe nails, glossed lips and nostrils and pigmentations. I also hand root my dolls, sometimes one hair at a time using a rooting needle to create lashes and realistic baby hair. The rooting process can take several days to weeks to complete. Each doll also has a soft, doe suede body, which is filled with ultra fine glass beads for weight and Royal silk polyfill for realism. The limbs and head are also weighted with ultra fine glass beads for weight. Each doll is weighted and painted to resemble a real baby.

Many of my dolls are cross posted or sold in other venues. If they happen to sell elsewhere I will mark them as “adopted”.
