Jewel sculpt by Denise Pratt - what a cutie - He has an anatomically accurate soft-spot, or "fontanelle", on the top of the head, like a real baby has. 19 inches long and a little over 3 pounds. The new mom wanted him to be on the small side. He is a custom with blond sprouts of hair all over. I really enjoyed making this one and loved how he turned out.
I use only Genesis heat set paints and fine glass beads from Bountiful Baby. I use high grade polyfil. I use cable ties and never strings. I place baby powder wafers inside the body so they have that sweet newborn scent. I use super strong magnets for pacifiers.
